If the kids haven't gotten mom a present yet, fear not! We'll have a drop in Mother's Day craft available on Saturday, May 11. From 2–3, drop by and make something special. Passes will be distributed 15 minutes prior to the start of the program. See other upcoming programs in our newsletter. Read More

Out with the old and in with the new! We have gotten rid of our photocopiers and replaced them with amazing new scanners. The new consoles allow users to scan documents for free and them save them to a USB drive or an email. You can, of course, still print out or fax hard copies. It's very easy to use, but as always, our librarians will be happy to help you. Read More

You won't see this in the newsletter, but we're going to have some Magna-Tiles to play with on Saturday, May 4th, from 2:00-3:00. Get ready to have fun, be creative, and learn a little at the same time! You don't even have to register! Some restrictions do apply, so read on for a few more details. Read More

It's finally warm out! Come celebrate with us and with our friends from Whole Foods Market Schaumburg. They're coming out to share recipes, prizes, and some samples of delicious spring and summer smoothies on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 pm. There's still time to register! Read More

It's National Library Week! If you love your library and want to let the world know, why not give our page a "like" on Facebook and get your friends to do the same? We're hoping to get to 500 likes by the end of the week! Read More

Thursday, April 25, Joseph Book from Itasca Bank & Trust will head out to the library to give our second Money Smart Week presentation. Running is an inexpensive and liberating way to stay healthy and as the weather gets warm, you might want to give it a try! Coaches from Elmhurst’s Runner’s Soul store will be at the library to share their expertise on how to get started, avoid injury, and stay motivated. Dress for a very short, optional run after the program if you’d like them to look at your form. Read More

Jazz up your spring at the library as this band plays mainstream jazz numbers. Don't miss the Terry Sullivan Trio this Sunday at 3:00! Read More

We want to make sure our patrons know we'll be closed on Easter. No materials will be due that day.
