Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Addison Public Library is comprised of seven individuals who reside within the Village limits of Addison. Trustees are elected and serve six-year terms. To serve as a Trustee, an individual must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, a registered voter, and a resident of Addison for one year.

The Board of Trustees of the Addison Public Library meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
The Board has adopted a paperless system of viewing information that will be discussed at each board meeting. The agendas and minutes are now available to the public using the same system.

08/31/2010 Out with Plastic Bags
Beginning September 1, if you transport your library materials in a bag you bring from home or in an Addison Public Library reusable bag you buy at the Circulation Desk, you can enter a monthly drawing and possibly win a prize. Show your bag at the Circulation Desk to receive a ticket. You are limited to one entry each day. This is part of the library's "Going Green" effort....
