There is also a computer classroom with ten Internet workstations. There are two Internet express stations. The use of Internet express stations is limited to 15 minutes, and patrons must be 18 years or older. The library does not monitor and has no control over the information accessed through the internet and is not responsible for its content.
All computers will be logged off 5 minutes before the library closes.
Two word processing machines with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also on the second floor. The regular Internet computers also have Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The internet and word processing workstations are attached to black and white and color printers. Printing charges are $.10 per black and white page and $.50 per color page.
Wireless internet access is available throughout the building. The wireless connection is 802.11g and 802.11b compatible. Wireless printing is available for Windows 2000/XP laptops. Printing at Addison Public Library may not work with all Windows Vista and Macintosh laptops, but wireless users are encouraged to try.
