Proxy Settings for Wireless

To connect to the library's wireless Internet, any proxy settings on the laptop need to be disabled. These settings are usually located in the Internet browser. Below are instructions for clearing proxy settings in three popular Internet browsers: Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Firefox.

Internet Explorer

1. Open the Tools menu.
2. Select the Internet Options... option.
3. Click on the Connections tab.
