• English Conversation Groups: FREE! -  Adult ESL learners practice English in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with an instructor present. No registration is required. The groups usually meet in the lMeeting Room on the first floor of the library.
  
  
  • The English Conversation Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month from 10 am to 12 noon. Tutors from Literacy DuPage facilitate the group.
     
  • A second English Conversation Group meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. Tutors are from the People's Resource Center.
    
     

ESL Collections and Resources

• Books:    The literacy and ESL books are divided into categories.  Each section has its own specifc colored sticker.  Look for these colors for the following sections:  Reading and Writing (Light Blue), Citizenship (Dark Blue), Mathematics (Red), Life Skills (Pink), Biography (Yellow), Fiction/stories (Green).
• Audiovisual:  DVDs and Books on CD/cassette 
• Dictionaries:  Picture dictionaries including the Oxford Picture Dictionaries used in most ESL classes
