Artist of the Month

This month artist Jan Dunteman has brought pastels and oil pastels for you to enjoy. Her works are displayed on the wall across from the elevator on the second floor. Take a moment to enjoy them when you are in the library.


Jan Dunteman, a 43 resident of Addison, has been painting for 15 years. This award-winning artist has taken many classes and workshops through the DuPage Art League; the Peninsula Art School in Door County, Wisconsin; and the Addison Art Guild.

Jan specializes in landscapes and florals. Water was her first choice of medium. It was a great foundation for future studies in pastel and oil pastel.
