Scanner Replaces Photocopier in Adult Services

A SimpleScan station has replaced the black and white photocopier on the 2nd floor in the library. Please ask a staff member for assistance, if needed.

The SimpleScan Station’s beveled edge protects the book spine from damage while allowing the page to lie flat on the glass. It produces a clear image of the text across the entire page. It can convert the scanned image into digital PDF, Word and Excel files. These digital files can be emailed, printed, searched, retrieved and edited. It handles both black and white and color documents. And, it reduces paper usage, saves a tree.
