Margaret Lopatka, Artist of the Month

Margaret Lopatka is the September Artist of the Month. Her works are on display on the 2nd floor across from the elevator. When you are in the library take a few moments to see her paintings.



Margaret Lopatka uses many different mediums such as colored pencil, oil pastel, acrylic, conte crayon, watercolor, marker, and pencil. Her objective is to create an impression or viewpoint which lets you come to your own conclusion rather than an exact representation of a person or place. She likes to paint from her heart with the hand and brust an extension of her emotions and thoughts. According to Margaret, painting live people, things, and places brings life to her art as no other method can.
