During World Fest the library will not be a quiet place! Special entertainment begins at 11 am.
11 am —
Kidworks Touring Theatre Co. presents
Peace Tales Around the World. Peaceful stories, festive dances, and ancient traditions come to life. Volunteers participate in West African dancing, act out a Native American tale, parade under the Chinese Dragon, and more!
1 pm — OD TAPO IMI Steel Drums blends percussion instruments and steel drums in a jubilant musical performance with a tropical feel. Musicians play steel drums, bongos, congas, timbales, a drum set, 25 other percussion instruments, and guitar.
3 pm — Chinese Fine Arts Society celebrates the Year of the Dragon with lion dancers. These beautifully costumed lions transport you to China for a wonderful celebration.
Addison's Unity Task Force brings two additional acts to the day. At
12:15 pm dancers from India will perform. And, at
2:15 pm Polish dancers will show you their steps.
Visit the Mehendi artists from noon until 3 pm and have your hand decorated with henna. Make an Italian mask or try a Chinese craft.
Nardi’s Tower of Pizza,
Amada's Café, and
Uncle Harry’s of Wisconsin will sell food in the café area. Everyone who attends receives a free entry into a prize drawing.
