Delicious Book Cake Contest

Children's Services is sponsoring a Book Cake Contest. Decorate a cake that illustrates your favorite book and bring it to the library on June 4. A staff member will take a picture of it so that everyone who comes to the library can vote on his or her favorite. The winner in each category receives a prize.

Bake: Create a decorated cake based on a favorite book. One winning cake will be chosen from each of the following categories: family, children and teens, and adults.

Deliver: On Monday, June 4, between 9 am-9 pm, bring your cake to the library and fill out an entry form. A staff member will take a photo of each cake; then, you take the cake home to enjoy.

Vote: Photos of all the delicious book cakes will be displayed in the library from June 5 through 30. During these dates, the public can vote for their favorite cake.

Prize: The winner in each category receives a $25 gift certificate for a local restaurant.
