Artist of the Month: Hannah Palma Laky

This month's artist is our very own Hannah Palma Laky! Her name may not be familiar, but her face is since she frequently can be found working at the Circulation Desk. Take a moment to stop by the art wall across from the elevator on the second floor to enjoy Hannah's wonderful photographs.





Hannah took the Bed & Breakfast Series of photographs at different B&Bs in northern Minnesota. She wanted to demonstrate intimate spaces strangers share. All of the photos were taken manually and hand-printed in a darkroom.










Hannah is originally from northern Minnesota and enjoys photography. Because it takes a while to set up a manual camera, she likes to scope out places to photograph before taking the actual pictures. Be sure to check out the photos, they look much better in person!
