The library has added Playaways, the first self-playing digital audio book, to both the children's and adult collections.


Each Playaway comes with the audio book preloaded. Simply plug in your own earbuds, insert 1 AAA battery, and enjoy. There are no cassettes to lose, no CDs to juggle, nothing to download. Just press and play. Each Playaway has an automatic bookmark that remembers where you left off. You can also change the speed of the narrator's voice.

For titles the library owns, you can search the catalog using Keyword Search; just enter Playaway to get the complete list.
