Become a Literacy Volunteer

A representative from Literacy DuPage will be at the Addison Public Library on Saturday, August 29, from 10 am to 3 pm, to make it really easy to volunteer for tutor training.
Help someone read, write, speak, or understand English better. Tutor training, a series of six workshops, begins September 14 at the Addison Public Library.
After training, tutors meet with their learners for two hours a week. Tutors meet with their students one on-one or in a small group. A $25 fee covers a portion of the cost of the materials received during training.
