Online Resources

Addison Public Library has subscriptions to following online products. 

• Amercia's newspapers - Includes the Chicago Tribune (1-1-1985 to current), Chicago Sun Times (1-1-1986 to current), The Daily Herald(1-1-1995 to current), New York Times (1-1-2000 to current). Search current and archived coverage of issues, events, people, government, sports and more with more than 700 full-text U.S. newspapers in the Collection. Includes staff-written articles, obituaries, editorials, announcements, real estate and other sections.”
• Historical Chicago Tribune - (1849-1985)
• Access to genealogy software like Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest. These software products can be used at Addison Library only. There is no remote access.
• Consumer Checkbook - A non-profit independent organization that rates plumbers, electricians, roofers, heating and air conditioning, auto repairs and health care services and more...This is accessible from the Library only.
• Consumer Report -  Consumer Report can be accessed throught Reference Center Gold, Gale Database products.
