The Camel Bookmobile by Masha Hamilton

New York librarian Fiona Sweeney wants something more out of life.  She wants to do some good.  Fiona joins a relief society that brings books to remote settlements in northeastern Kenya.  Some of the tribesman have never seen a book.  While some of the villagers support the library, others feel their traditions and oral history are threatened.  When some of the books go missing, tensions rise, and the village's reputation is threatened.  Fiona realizes thather good deeds come at a high price.
