Please join us in meeting Emily, a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analysts from Argonne National Laboratory, for today's Meet the MakeHER! Meet the MakeHER is a video series to highlight people in STEAM-related careers as a way to celebrate Women's History Month and International Women's Day. The Why’s and When’s of Car Maintenance

This class covers the foundational maintenance items, what they do in their specific systems, why they should be changed in addition to things like the owner's manual, and what preventive maintenance even means. This class is presented by Mechanic Shop Femme on Zoom.

3D Printing Basics

Learn the basics of 3D printing! This class will teach patrons how to find free 3D designs, suggestions for free 3D designing programs, and how to submit 3D requests for the Creative Studio's 3D printer.

Kits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit of one per person.

Stitch-a-long starting March 8

Join us for a 3-week International Women's Day themed stitch-a-Long. A stitch-a-long is a cross stitch pattern of which parts of the pattern are released one at a time. A limited number of kits with supplies for the cross-stitch pattern will be available on March 8 at 9:00 in the Creative Studio on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Register to receive the pattern by email. Registration does not guarantee supplies.

"Empowered Women Empower Women" Sign on March 13

Pick up a take home kit from the Creative Studio! The kit includes a blank wood panel, paint, brushes, and pre-cut stencil vinyl made using our electronic cutters. The stencil will say "Empowered Women Empower Women" in celebration of Women's History Month.
