Summer Reading opens to everyone on June 1 at the library. Addison Public Library cardholders get VIP access and can get their book starting May 30. No need to sign up in advance, just come on in and choose your book!

You are invited to celebrate the start of Summer Reading at our kick-off event! Check out one of the Addison Fire Protection District's trucks, enjoy a magic show and balloon animals with local magician Jaime Aponte, and enjoy some Kona Ice. We will have free servings of Kona Ice available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
¡Están invitados a un evento para celebrar el comienzo de la Lectura de Verano! Conozcan a nuestros bomberos y sus camiones, mientras saborean un raspado de Kona Ice. También tendremos un show de magia y globos en figura de animalitos con nuestro mago local, Jamie Aponte. Tendremos porciones de Kona Ice disponibles, hasta agotar existencias.
Kids bonus reading logs / Registro de lectura adicional para niños
Every children's tote bag will come with a bonus reading log for kids who want to challenge themselves to read more this summer. Completing the bonus reading log is optional, but those who finish their bonus log will receive a small goodie bag!
