We are excited to announce that the Addison Public Library has joined Illinois Libraries Present, a statewide collaboration of public libraries. This initiative brings high-quality virtual events, featuring national names, to libraries of all sizes and budgets. Keep an eye out for Illinois Libraries Present events offered throughout the year!

Being Imperfect with Erika Sánchez

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Erika Sánchez, award-winning author of I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, joined in conversation by Cynthia Pelayo. Erika L. Sánchez is the daughter of Mexican immigrants. Her debut young adult novel, I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, was a New York Times bestseller, National Book Award finalist, Tomás Rivera Award winner, and was recognized by Time as one of the best YA novels of all time.
