Let us bring the library to you! The Rolling Reader, our book bike, makes stops at local parks and events so you can get your library card, pick up library swag, and check out materials.

Need help finding your next book? Visit the Children's Services or Adult Services desks to get a personalized reading recommendation.
Computers
The library offers computers in the Adult, Teen, and Children's areas. Sign in with your library card or a guest pass. Computers are Windows-based with access to Microsoft Office, Wi-Fi, and printing. Print is $0.10/BW and $0.25/color.
Exam Proctoring
As part of our mission to promote lifelong learning, the library offers exam proctoring to Addison Public Library cardholders.
Math Help
Children Grades 1-5 can meet with a Children Services Specialist to practice math. Request an Appointment
Museum Passes
We're excited to offer Explore More Illinois and the Museum Adventure Pass, two great ways to explore local attractions such as museums, park districts and more!
One-on-One Appointments
The library offers a variety of appointments for children, teens and adults ranging technology help, research help, help with reading, and more.
Print, Scan, Fax
Printing and scanning stations can be found on the 2nd Floor and Children's Area. Printing and copying is $0.10/BW and $0.25/color. Scan-to-email and fax is free. Learn more.
Reading Help
Children Grades 1-5 can meet with a Children Services Specialist for reading help. Request an Appointment.
Reserve a Room
The library offers study rooms. Meeting rooms are unavailable starting January 1, 2025 due to construction.
Social Services
We offer referral based social services through our Social Services Specialist. Our specialist has a wide network of resources and can assist patrons seeking social services support. Learn more.
Trail Tales
Make your summer visits to the park more special by visiting a park featuring our Trail Tales! This collaboration with the Addison Park District allows us to bring a bilingual story for you and your family to enjoy.
