Voter Registration

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Voters must be at least 18 by Election Day
  • Must have been a resident in the precinct for at least 30 days prior to Election Day
  • Provide two forms of ID, with a current name and address on at least one of them
  • Addison Public Library
  • Village Hall – Village Clerk’s Office (enter through the Police Department entrance)
  • Addison Township

  • October 8, 2024: deadline to register by mail to vote 
  • October 20, 2024: deadline to register online to vote
  • October 31, 2024: deadline for election authority to receive a mail-in application to vote by mail
  • November 5, 2024: General Election Day; voter registration available at your voting location; deadline for any registered voter to return a completed Vote by Mail ballot in person to an election authority
