Spring break is the perfect time to explore all that Illinois has to offer! Whether you're looking for a fun family outing, a cultural experience, or something new, Explore More Illinois makes it easy to plan your next adventure. 

 

What is Explore More Illinois?

Explore More Illinois is a free service provided by your library that provides instant online access to free and discounted tickets to museums, science centers, sporting events, zoos, park districts, theatres, and other fun and local cultural venues.

How do I access Explore More Illinois?

You can click here to access the Explore More Illinois login page. You can also go directly to https://exploremore.quipugroup.net and choose the Addison Public Library from the drop down menu, then enter your library card barcode and PIN.

How do I get a pass?

Log in with your library card and browse for passes by date or attractions. (If you don't know your PIN or password, or if you have problems logging into Explore More Illinois, please contact us!)

Make your reservation and print or download your pass shortly before your visit. You can have three active reservations per library card. Cancel your reservation(s) if you are unable to attend, otherwise the reservation will count as being used. Remember that once you print or download your pass you cannot cancel your reservation.

American Writers Museum / Chicago, IL

The American Writers Museum is an interactive playground for literature lovers who want to learn more about their favorite writers and discover new ones. Multiple galleries with hands-on exhibits engage visitors of all ages.

Chicago Academy of Sciences Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum / Chicago, IL

Chicago Hounds Major League Rugby / Bridgeview, IL 

We are a professional rugby team that joined the Major League Rugby competition in 2023. As the only professional Chicago Sports team to win a play-off match in 2024, we are thrilled to enter our third season. All our matches are played at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, and we offer an exciting, and FUN family friendly atmosphere. Chicago Stars FC / Bridgeview, IL

Founded in 2007, Chicago Stars FC (formerly known as the Chicago Red Stars) was a key founding member of Women’s Professional Soccer and later became one of the original eight teams in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in 2013. The team has established itself as a consistent powerhouse, making the playoffs for seven straight years from 2015 to 2022. The team plays its home matches at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, a rare soccer-specific venue in the league with an all-grass playing and practice surface.

The Oakton College Performing Arts Center, originally built in as a lecture hall, was renovated in 2001, adding a shop, dressing rooms and a black box/studio theatre. Today, the Oakton College Performing Arts Center provides a unique theatrical experience with a 262-seat mainstage and an 85-seat black box/studio theater.
