We joined SWAN! Here's six things you need to know

November 2023

We have officially joined SWAN — a group of 100 libraries that share resources to give you access to more books, media, downloads, and research databases. And we're the 101st library to join!

Six things to know about SWAN

  1. PINs have been reset — On Tues., Nov. 14, all PINs have been reset to the last 4 digits of the phone number that we have in your account. (Once logged in, you can change your PIN to whatever you’d like!)
  2. Make sure you know your PIN — Easily access your online account with your PIN, and quickly use our self-checkout machines at the library (which now require your PIN).
  3. Bookmark our catalog — Visit add.swanlibraries.net to start browsing our new online catalog, called Aspen.
  4. Start requesting items — You can begin placing holds on items from any of the other 100 SWAN libraries through our online catalog!
  5. Want a different pickup location? Your items can be picked up here at the library, or you may select any other SWAN library.
  6. Access downloads — Browse digital materials like eBooks and eAudiobooks directly in our online catalog.

New things can be confusing! We're here to help with any questions you might have about joining SWAN, requesting materials, accessing your account, and more.
