Sewing Machines

The sewing machines are great for hemming and mending your own clothes! You can use these machines to create pillow cases, bags, and more.

• Singer Quantum Stylist 9960
• All Purpose Polyester Thread - Black and White only
• Empty bobbins
• Fabric scissors
• Seam rippers
• Measuring tape
• Sewing pins
• Thread helper
• 24"x36" Cutting Mats

The equipment and tools are free to use. Patrons should bring their own material for their project.

  • Note: We do not have denim or leather sewing needles.

• Thread in desired color
  • White and Black All Purpose Polyester Thread is available for free

1. Visit the Tech Help Desk to get a power cord for the sewing machine. 
2. Review the manual to learn how to wind your bobbin and thread the machine. If you need staff to show you how to thread a machine, please Request an Appointment and schedule a one-on-one with the Creative Services Coordinator. 
3. Use the foot pedal or Start/Stop button to operate the machine.
